General Overview

Managers pick a single golfer every week for that week’s tournament under a One and Done format: managers may not pick any one golfer more than once during the season. Managers receive one point for each dollar in prize winnings accumulated by golfers they pick; the manager with the most points at the end of the season wins.

Managers are divided into divisions, each consisting of 72 users. Managers will be ranked against their division opponents and against the overall league. Managers will be promoted & relegated based on their previous season results.

Cost

The cost for the 2024 season is $39 — this helps cover the development costs, prizes, servers and other expenses. Users receive a RunGoodGolf Patch, full stat tracking and an invitation to the private RunGood Slack Channel.

Prizes

If you’re playing on RunGoodGolf strictly for prizes, you may be disappointed. There are legal constraints across the globe that I need to comply with and the main point of the site is to be inclusive and built for entertainment purposes only.

With that being said — each division winner will receive $500 and the overall winner will receive $5,000. Additionally, there are plans to have various prizes and giveaways throughout the year.

Promotion & Relegation

Each division is ranked based on strength of managers. The “highest division” is Augusta, reserved for the 72 best managers. Each year, the bottom 18 managers in each division will be relegated and the top 18 managers in each division will be promoted.

The 2024 season divisions will be assigned based on career earnings. “Rookies” will be placed in “Rookie Divisions” and re-assigned for the 2025 season.

Roster Requirements

Each week, a managers will select one golfer. Any golfer in the field may be selected, so long as the manager has not selected that golfer in a prior tournament under the same entry. Selections must be submitted prior to the first scheduled tee time of the golf tournament. There are no submission time extensions for a delayed tournament start.

Lock Time & Golfer Withdrawals

Lock Time will be considered the first golfer’s scheduled tee time in a given tournament. If a selected golfer withdraws prior to hitting a shot in the tournament, that golfer will be returned to the manager for future use. If a golfer withdraws after hitting any shot during the tournament round, that selection will be considered valid and no longer available for future use.

Postponed / Cancelled Events

If an event is cancelled, all selections will be voided and golfers selected for that event will be free for participants to use for another event. If an event is postponed, but is rescheduled to a date before the PGA Tour Championship, the event will be included in the tour schedule. If an event is postponed until after the conclusion of the tour’s season, it will not be included in the tournament schedule, with the exception of Major Championships:

• Masters Tournament
• U.S. Open Championship
• The Open Championship (British Open)
• PGA Championship
• THE PLAYERS Championship

If any of these Major Championships are postponed until after the PGA Tour Championship, but before the end of the current calendar year, they will be included in the tournament schedule.
